The OUTSIDERS

The Outsiders is about a fourteen-year-old boy named Ponyboy Curtis. Ponyboy is part of a gang called the Greasers, who are known for the trouble they cause. The novel follows Ponyboy as his life gets thrown off course after a rival gang, the Socs, beat him and one of his friends up.

Chamber music
Chamber Music is a 1962 one-act play by absurdist playwright Arthur Kopit. The story is set in 1938 and concerns eight famous women from different historical periods who all are interned in the same insane asylum.

A seemingly harmeless bet quickly escalating  into a dangerious game of on-up-manship that reveals their tenacity and deeper truths they would both rather leave hidden.

DANCING AT LUGHNASA HIGHLIGHTS

November 11-14, 2021

Set in the fictional Irish village of Ballybeg, Ireland, Dancing at Lughnasa is a memory play, told from the perspective of an adult Michael. He recalls one summer he spent at his aunts' home when he was seven years old. The five Mundy sisters, all unmarried, live in a big cottage just outside of the small village.

In roaring twenties Chicago, chorine Roxie Hart murders a faithless lover and convinces her hapless husband, Amos, to take the rap... until he finds out he's been duped and turns on Roxie. Convicted and sent to death row, Roxie and another "Merry Murderess," Velma Kelly, vie for the spotlight and the headlines, ultimately joining forces in search of the "American Dream": fame, fortune, and acquittal.

January 29th and February 5  Streaming February 18th, and 19th (inquire for a link to the show.

This show was performed for the One Act competitions.  Students placed in the top 3 at prelims and traveled to St. Francis to preform at sections.  The story is about 3 hapless fools brought in for an experimental game.  As the game progresses, we see the drive that makes each human want to possess more than his neighbors—a drive that causes hatred ... and starts wars.
